As I dance around the flowers
Butterflies in my hair
Enchanted by love, & by beauty
in the courts medieval palace
With silken gowns, & careful grace
where humbled hearts are no longer hidden, veiled in lace.
bejeweled crowns, and delicate smiles so sweet
within these cathedral halls of glittering dreams.
far beyond the castle's walls,
where harps play as twilight falls.
there flowers sway, and angels dance,
A meadow wrapped in sunlight’s trance.
Where tangled vines and rivers hum,
And songbirds call to us, soft and swung.
here love laughs loud, and dreams run free,
as children play beneath the trees.
no silver rings, no binding ties,
just wild hearts beneath infinite skies—
A place to twirl, to breathe, to sing,
In mossy groves, where faeries wing.
Yet back & forth they drift, with dewdrop eyes,
From fields of green to courtly guise,
For she who’s touched by the forest’s charms
Brings love and light to court’s warm arms.
Shakespeare knew, as we can see,
That court and meadow both hold glee.
Just as we do,
Upon a midsummer night's dream
